Brief

As art director for the MOVEMENT project, my goal was to go all out creative. It had to reflect the music and creative appeal of the alt funk house Brooklyn scene.
Each printed piece was to be a work of art. There is nothing better for a graphic designer than that type of creative freedom. Each of these projects used elements of photography, illustration, collage and typography. The final products were pasted, hung, placed and handed out all over Brooklyn and Manhattan.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row thb_full_width=”true” thb_row_padding=”true” thb_column_padding=”true” thb_divider_position=”bottom” css=”.vc_custom_1647190592629{background-color: #ececec !important;}”][vc_column][thb_image full_width=”true” animation=”animation bottom-to-top” image=”1385″][/thb_image][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row thb_full_width=”true” thb_row_padding=”true” thb_column_padding=”true” thb_divider_position=”bottom”][vc_column width=”1/2″][thb_image full_width=”true” animation=”animation left-to-right” image=”1388″][/thb_image][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][thb_image full_width=”true” animation=”animation right-to-left” image=”1387″][/thb_image][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row thb_divider_position=”bottom” css=”.vc_custom_1473585375738{padding-top: 7vh !important;padding-bottom: 7vh !important;}”][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
Process

The projects for MOVEMENT were pretty rapid fire. There was no time to explore directions. I had to create something to promote the event frequently and quickly. It was exhilarating and frantic.

“Don’t think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art.” -Andy Warhol
